Chat in your web browser with java chat at StarChat.
Here's a step-by-step:
1. Type in a nickname
2. For Channel type in luver
3. (optional) type in ypour Real Name
4. Click on Connect Now
5. Once you are connected, type in the command line at the bottom where the cursor is. Hit Enter to send your message.

How do I setup my client?
Once you have picked a client, downloaded it and installed, you have to set it up to connect to StarChat. Although comprehensive instructions can be found in the programs help file, I will briefly describe the procedure here for Mirc.

Mirc
To connect to a random server on the StarChat IRC Network using the mIRC or pIRCh chat client:* Open your mIRC or pIRCh client.
* In any window, type: /server irc.starchat.net
* Press enter.
• Once you are connected join the LUVeR chatroom by typing:
/join #luver
Occasionally due to a server outage, you may receive a Connection Refused message. When this occurs, please attempt to connect to a specific server on the network. For a list of the specific StarChat servers, please consult the Server Listings.


To connect to a specific server on the StarChat IRC Network using the mIRC or pIRCh chat client:* Open your mIRC or pIRCh client.
* In any window, type: /server [server name].starchat.net
* Press enter.
• Once you are connected join the LUVeR chatroom by typing:
/join #luver
If you continue to be unable to connect to the network, note the message you are receiving and consider consulting the help file for your client. In mIRC, this can be done by typing /help in any window.
